No surprise that in an effort to manage my life the week before one of my “A Race” events of 2022, I spent time developing and writing down my Race Plan for the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon that is happening in Duluth tomorrow.Īfter all, I did spend 16 focused weeks training for this race with the awesome run organization, Run Minnesota. Strength affirmationĪccording to the no-cost High5 Test strengths test, I am a strategist and a focus expert. Many of my athletic coaches over the years have told me, “Plan your race, and then on race day, race your plan.” The logic of that makes perfect sense to me.
